2018 Disability Awareness Parade

Join Us

Randolph County Mayor’s Committee for Disabled Persons will host the 5th Annual Disability Awareness Day & Parade on Friday, October 19, 2018.  Join us as we celebrate Disabilities Awareness Day and encourage the entire community to celebrate & honor those living with any type of disability.

The parade route will begin on Sunset Avenue (@ The Courier Tribune) (10:00am) and follow a short route down Sunset Avenue to Bicentennial Park in downtown Asheboro. It will be a day designed to allow individuals with disabilities to be celebrated and raise public awareness about the issues facing individuals with disabilities.
